The piece consists of a silver collar which hooks around the neck causing the twelve Amber teardrops to cascade down. The Amber teardrops are of various sizes and different shades and colours .Some are opaque yellow Amber, others a translucent cognac or a twinkling darker cognac . They are fixed to the main body of the necklace by braided silver wires.
