Amber is the fossilised resin of ancient pine trees. Our Amber comes from the Baltic regionbeing formed during the Eocene geological period about 44 million years ago.When the trees fell to the forest floor they were covered by layers of sediments and a process  known as molecular polymerization occured due to the heat and pressure applied by the overlying materials.
