This delicate pendant is made from silver which encapsulates a teardrop Moonstone. 

It has three teardrop loops. The first is plated in Rose gold, the second in Yellow Gold , the third is silver. 

Moonstone is a feldspar mineral consisting of layers of Orthoclase and Albite. As light reflects from these alternate layers in different directions  , a lovely change of hue takes place reminicent of Moonlight . In fact the Romans believed that the stone were actually petrified rays of moonlight!
