A lovely Lapis Lazuli gemstone handcrafted in sterling silver with a silver overlaid design

This stone often contains golden flecks of pyrite (iron sulphide). These golden flecks on the deep blue matrix of the stone resemble a clear star studded sky and thus the stone was known as 'The Night Stone'.
