Russian Wedding Bands consist of three interlocking bands which cannot be separated .
They were adopted by the Christian Orthodox religion , which is popular in Eastern Europe and Russia. Traditionally they were worn on the right hand and many Eastern Europeans contine to do so. This is a practice dating back to the Roman times.
